1111 - 1666

St Benet in the 12th century until the Great Fire of London. Linked to Shakespeare, Anne Boleyn, Lady Jane Grey and Inigo Jones.

1685 - 1879

St Benet is reborn as one of Sir Christopher Wren's City churches. Connected to Charles II and venue for thousands of quickly arranged weddings.

Saved by Queen Victoria and given to Welsh Anglicans for worship, St Benet is the Metropolitan Welsh Church.
